1970年出生于台湾、新竹。2007年毕业于西班牙巴塞隆纳Escola Massana艺术学校，主修现代珠宝设计。2005至2007年于Off Massana艺术家工作室驻村创作三年，专注于珠宝设计与漆艺创作。2009年始自行摸索弦乐器制作，发展一系列漆乐器作品，包括古琴、小提琴、吉他与月琴等。2010年起于台湾著名禅者林谷芳先生与茶界友人创建的台北书院四季茶会“茶与乐的对话”中担任茶人至今，并结合金工与漆艺创作技巧，发展出独具各特色的茶器作品。现为专职漆艺、金工创作者、茶人。

　　Fan Yangcun was born in Xinzhu, Taiwan in 1970. He graduated from Escola Mssana in Spain, majoring in modern jewelry design. From 2005 to 2007 he focused on jewelry design and lacquer art creation in Off Massana Artists Workshop. In 2009 he started making string instruments on his own and has created a series of instrument works, including ancient qin, violin, guitar and yu-kin. Since 2010, Fan has been a tea master Taipei Shuyuan Four Season Tea Fair "The Conversation Between Tea and Happiness" since 2010. The Fair was founded by Fan, together with famous zenist Lin Gufang and his friends in the tea circle. Fan has developed unique tea set works by combining the skills of metal work and lacquer art. He is now a professional lacquer and metal artist, as well as a tea master.
