1960年出生于山西省新绛县，1980年在四川美术学院学习，1986年在中央工艺美术学院进修（现清华大学美术学院）。中国漆画研究会会员，中国工艺美术学会漆艺专业委员会会员，现为山西新绛大家云雕艺术研制所艺术总监。<br />

　　Chen Qingli was born in Xinjiang County, Shanxi Province in 1960. He studied art in Sichuan Fine Art Academy in 1980 and pursued a higher degree in the Central Academy of Art & Design in 1986 (which is now the Fine Art Academy of Tsinghua University). Chen is a member of Chinese Lacquer Painting Research Board, member of the Lacquer Art Committee of Chinese Art & Design Academy and is now the art director of the Sculpture Research Institute in Xinjiang, Shanxi.<br />
