个人简历
刘茜懿1987年生于北京，影像艺术家，导演。现工作和生活于东京和北京。年幼时在日本接受教育，1999年回国后开始深度游历祖国的大山大水感悟自然的力量，同时考察中国古代文明和当下发展中的都市文化，感受到哲学的混沌和冥想籁籁之声。自从2008年制作绘画装置作品《小格系列》，这是个人她坚持制作时间最长的装置影像系列，这也是她所有创作的思路轨迹的起点。2010年大学毕业后赴日本早稻田大学留学，期间去欧洲法国，瑞士，西班牙等地方考察；在伦敦剧院观看现代戏剧《肮脏的舞蹈》时被舞台上的大霓虹球所触动，想象了此球飞往无限宇宙的镜头，回东京后开始制作实验动画《天籁籁》。
2011年在参加法国留泥汪艺术驻地计划时，在岛上居住3个月制作《天籁籁》系列第二部影像装置《地籁籁》，发表于留泥汪双年展。之后赴非洲参加科摩罗电影节，被地球的另一端的世界所感染，思考归属的意义，对自然与心象的追求，和这些元素的重构。这些将是往后的影片制作的思想和视觉的根源。
刘茜懿通过拍摄纪录片学习电影制作，也透过纪录片记录和认识了世界。她参与拍摄过《物派艺术家夏仓康二》，《京都掠影》，导演了纪录片《贾平凹》，并跟随日本摄影师高间贤治学习电影摄影。她在视听语言和蒙太奇中探索其当代艺术理念－实验和怀疑的介入，并与她的大型绘画《HEY心脏》、《大脚》等视觉艺术作品相结合，探索一部新的视觉电影的可能性。

LiuQianyi,avideoartistanddirector,wasborninBeijingin1987.ShereceivededucationinJapanatayoungageandcurrentlylivesandworksinTokyoandBeijing.AfterreturningbacktoChinain1999,shebegantravelingthroughthegreatmountainsandriversinordertoperceivetheforcesandnatureofhermotherlandandsimultaneously?investigatingthedevelopmentsofancientChinesecivilizationandcontemporaryurbanculture.Throughhertravels,shefeltthephilosophicalvoicesofchaosandmeditationsofthemelodiesofnature.Sincetheproductionpaintinginstallation"smallcellseries"in2008,ithasbeenthedeviceimageseriesthatshepersonallyinsistedonspendingthelongesttimetomake;thisisalsothestartingpointtoallofhercreativeideas.Aftergraduatingfromcollegein2010,shestudiedabroadatWasedaUniversityinJapanandduringthisperiodoftimeshevisitedFrance,Switzerland,SpainandotherplacesinEurope.Shewasfascinatedbythebigneondiscoballonstagewhilewatchingthemoderndrama"DirtyDancing"attheLondontheaterandbegintoimaginescenesofitflyingintheinfiniteuniverse,whichledtothemakingoftheexperimentalanimationTIANLAILAIafterherreturntoTokyo.
In2011,sheparticipatedintheFrenchReunionArtresidentprogram,andduringher3monthsontheislandshebeganthemakingofthesecondepisodeofTIANLAILAIseriesanimationcalledDILAILAI,whichwaslaterpublishedintheReunionBiennaleexhibition.SoonafterthisshewenttoAfricatoparticipateintheComorosFilmFestivalandwasfascinatinglyinfluencedbytheothersideoftheworldwhichledhertoponderuponthemeaningofattributiveness,thepersuiteofnatureandmentalimageryandthereconstructionoftheseelements.Thesethoughtswillbecometherootsofherfuturefilmproduction'svisualsandideas.
LiuXiQianlearnedfilmmakingthroughfilmingdocumentaryfilms.Throughthedocumentaryrecordings,shealsohasanewunderstandingoftheworld.SheparticipatedinthefilmingofMonohaartistKojiEnokura，KyotoStory，anddirectedadocumentaryfilmcalledJIAPINGWAapeople’sletrature.ShefollowsJapanesefilmmaker,KenjiTakamainlearningcinematography.Sheexplorescontemporaryartisticvisionthroughmontageandvisuallanguage-involvementofexperimentsandsuspicionsandwithherlargepaintings HEYheart、Bigfootandotherworksofvisualartcombinetogethertoexplorenewvisualmoviepossibilities.
